I recently visited an art gallery. The gallery itself was simple and sleek as to focus on the art being displayed. The layout was very modern and the art studio was totally monochrome. In fact, the first thing I noticed upon entering was the grey palette on the walls and floor, and I loved the monochrome aspect of it. All of the art was eye-catching and each piece really “popped” because of this simple and modern gallery design. I was told that this art gallery had a modern layout with monochrome/grey walls to focus on the art displayed and not on the architecture of the room. The gallery featured modern art and contemporary art in the studio and ended with some monochrome art which was displayed in a manner that enhanced the focus on the art and blended that section together. I think any art gallery should focus on the art displayed. A modern layout using monochrome/grey art accents was a brilliant and creative way for art to be shown in a modern art studio. Don’t neglect to visit art studios in person or online. They are a lot of fun.
